I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weekend! At school, we are heading into a very busy time of the year. I will try to post dates and reminders on this blog to help keep everyone informed.
We will have a school assembly tomorrow which will focus on Earth Day. The assembly is for students and staff only. If possible, please have your child wear green to school tomorrow.
Our Kindergarten Dinosaur Exhibit is this Friday from 2:15 - 2:45. They children are very excited about sharing the projects they have worked on and the facts they have learned. A reminder will be sent home tomorrow. Please let me know if you will not be able to make this event.
Also, please return your Kindergarten GraduationT-Shirt form~ even if you are not buying one. The orders are due by May 6th! The children will be wearing these shirts on our graduation day and on field day. If you choose
not to buy a graduation t-shirt then please have your child wear an orange shirt on these days.
During math, we are working hard on building numbers 11-20 as well as reading and writing these numbers. We are using different types of math materials to help us create groups of tens. We are also working on counting by tens as well. Continue practicing these tricky teen numbers at home as well!
Thanks so much for your ongoing support. We are looking forward to a great week of kindergarten learning and fun! :)
Sincerely,
Mrs. Eileen Browne
